Can’t decide between two options? Let a coin choose. This free online coin flip decision maker assigns each choice to one side, then a fair 50/50 flip settles it instantly — perfect for a quick yes or no, this or that, or any “help me decide” moment. It works as a random decision maker for everyday choices, and every flip uses a cryptographically secure random source, so neither side is favored.

Frequently asked questions
- What is a decision coin?
- A decision coin is a two-sided coin where each side stands for one of your two options. Flip it and the side that lands up is your answer — a fast, impartial way to break a tie.
- How does flipping a coin help me decide?
- When two choices feel equally good (or you just want to stop overthinking), a 50/50 flip removes the deadlock. Many people also notice how they feel about the result, which reveals what they really wanted.
- Can I decide between my own two choices?
- Yes. On any coin page you can type your own question and two labels (for example “Pizza or Sushi?”), then flip and share the link so a friend gets the exact same coin.
- How do I create my own question to flip on?
- Open the Yes or No coin — it works for anything — then:
- Click to edit the question at the top of the coin — either the “What are you deciding?” prompt or the question text itself works — then type your own question.
- Fill the two side boxes with your options (for example “Pizza” and “Sushi”).
- Flip the coin — the side that lands up is your answer.
- Copy the page link to share; whoever opens it gets the exact same question and coin.
- Is the coin flip fair?
- Yes. Every flip uses a cryptographically secure random source (crypto.getRandomValues in your browser), so each side has an even 50% chance with no bias.
- Which decision coin should I use?
- Pick the one that matches your choice — Yes or No for any yes/no question, or a themed coin like Coffee or Tea, Go or Stay, or Study or Party. No exact match? Use Yes or No and rename the sides.
